LOCATION, LOCATION & LOCATION

I have always known that the three most important factors when buying a home are:?LOCATION, LOCATION and LOCATION. BUT when Mark Twain once famously stated “Buy land, they’re not making it anymore.” -?he didn’t know the metaverse was about to revolutionize real estate in 2022 and beyond!

As I have built a personal network of 850,000,000 + since pioneering Internet Marketing “web1” in 1996 with my first NASDAQ listing (NASDAQ: OZEMY) - I have never been as passionate about the "limitless opportunities" in real estate and property my entire life, especially now the metaverse arrived.

The metaverse, focuses on?allowing people to do anything they can do in real life (physical world). e.g. Going to a work, having a meeting with business colleagues, hanging out with friends, shopping, attending concerts, performances, attending sporting events, and even sightseeing can technically be done in the metaverse.

Even vacant land, residential properties, special use (including city parks and federal buildings) and commercial properties. Just like the physical world.

It's thrilling that a "virtual world" in which people live, work, shop and interact with others - all from the comfort of their couch in the"physical world" (connected, but separate) As a result, you're able to carry and move items from one digital space to another—and even interact with the physical world in certain situations.

I believe the metaverse will revolutionize every aspect of our life and business over the coming decades, allowing collaboration in virtual spaces, augmented physical places and/or a blend of both. Importantly, it will create new lines of business and transform interactions between customers and companies and accelerate changes!

The metaverse provides a limitless opportunity to offer virtual goods and services in a realistic 3D digital environment (especially in real estate). It literally creates a new world for growing your brand & your business. Importantly, it is not just for existing brands or products BUT for innovative new goods and services tailored specifically to a 3D digital environment.

While working in New York City Tim O'Reilly in?2004, first coined the term “web2” which become a popular phrase to encompass the new generation of internet applications that enable content sharing and collaboration.

Additionally, the term “web3” was coined in?2014?by Ethereum co-founder Gavin Wood, and the idea gained interest in 2021 from cryptocurrency enthusiasts, large technology companies, and venture capital firms. So, thanks to web1, web2 & web3 – I have been on a rocket ship ride thanks to the Internet’s eruption!

In fact, I have never felt more empowered about being able to integrate my "physical world" real estate with my "digital" real estate expertise! The same reason why I first pioneered Internet Marketing (web1) and did my first NASDAQ listing way back in 1996!

I personally believe that all real estate agents and brokers today MUST become experts in "virtual worlds" by providing value by supporting and helping purchases and marketing in the metaverse. The days of 'traditional' real estate agents & brokers who want to give their clients and investors the best customer service and results must excel in both physical & virtual worlds in 2022!

I truly believe, the metaverse will revolutionize change in the real estate industry and I pray all agents, brokers, developers and real estate companies understand "The Domino Effect" is about to topple down all the "traditional" agents/brokers, that only work in the physical world. All realtors must see and understand the "geometeric progression" of dominoes that has now arrived at metaverse.

As BJ Thorton once famously was quoted: "Every great change starts like falling dominoes"

In the metaverse,?users traverse a virtual world that mimics aspects of the physical world using such technologies such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), AI, social media and digital currency. Additionally, a metaverse is a network of 3D virtual worlds focused on social connection while delivering a meaningful and inspiring future.

So far, the metaverse is not a single virtual world, but a network of interconnected 3D environments. Digital platforms such as Sandbox, Decentraland, Illuvium, Metahero, FutureX MetaVerse and Roblox allow users to create, build, customize and interact with their environments and each other.

In fact, I have believed for years now, real estate agents and brokers would greatly benefit because the metaverse - Virtual reality?(VR), Augmented reality (AR) and Extended reality (ER) tech?drastically expands and accelerates the number of potential buyers!

Property showcases through VR are already occurring nationally and worldwide. There are VR options where potential homebuyers can use VR headsets and compatible smartphones to take virtual reality tours.

What is metaverse digital real estate?

Metaverse real estate takes the form of?digital land that's housed in "virtual" or online world. These parcels offer in-game spaces that you can customize, renovate, or use for socializing, playing games or experiencing virtual activities.

Facts about virtual real estate in 2022

Real estate sales on major metaverse platforms hit $501 million in 2021, according to MetaMetric Solutions. In January 2022, sales on those platforms were more than $85 million and MetaMetric projects sales could reach?$1 billion?in 2022. In some cases, virtual real estate went for as much as a physical house.

Additionally, even McKinsey & Co.’s new research shows the metaverse could grow up to $5 trillion in value by 2030. And McKinsey also highlights ecommerce as the largest economic force ($2.6 trillion), ahead of sectors such as virtual learning ($270 billion), advertising ($206 billion), and gaming ($125 billion).

As I see it, the metaverse is "the Internet of the future." Chiefly, Augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) are two principal types of immersive technologies to demonstrate various platforms and enhance user experiences.

Best yet, the metaverse promises?to create spaces where experiences are built around individuals, but that will require access to a great deal of personal data.

Since the arrival of COVID-19, many companies have shifted towards virtual events and digital marketing strategies to continue connecting with their clients and audience.??

Despite housing sales and new listings remaining active during the pandemic, real estate industry agents, brokers and workers have been forced to seek creative solutions to connect sellers, potential buyers, and industry professionals.??

As I have repeatedly stated for the last decade - thanks to new developments in real estate tech, the days of?'only imagining'?may soon be behind us. With today's technology improving home touring and selling efficiency, buying sight unseen, fixing, and flipping rapidly, improved advertising and quality leads and now the metaverse gaining immense traction, collaboration and technological innovation will make the coming years incredible!

So, if you want your organization or real estate agency to deliver extraordinary customer experiences, dramatically improve EBITDA and achieve greater results - the metaverse just might be the solution and achieve better results in less time. Importantly, ask is the metaverse the ONE Thing that could make you more competitive or make you more profitable?

SUMMARY:

Finally, move fast and be an innovator. Speed is one of your main?advantages?over large or multinational companies. Even major companies such as: Gucci, HSBC, Microsoft, Louie Vuitton, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Atari have bought land in the metaverse PLUS, more than 200+ consumer-facing brands now have offices/homes on the metaverse today.

Be an innovator or an early adopter!

Each brand will use the land for different purposes, but they would’ve bought the land only if they believed it held value. Importantly, always inspire and ignite trailblazing innovation in your company or workplace.

Remember, owning a home, business, or sporting stadium in the physical or metaverse is a keystone of wealth! Importantly, your habits and choices decide your future!
