Local rural broadband in the East Tennessee Valley

Local rural broadband in the East Tennessee Valley

I never knew just how bad elected officials could hurt the same people that put them in their ELECTED positions. Here in the East Tennessee region, what would be considered mostly rural population, citizens have been suffering and neglected.  What all of metro-America takes for granted is not offered even to the highest income families.  Rolling out of the stone age is difficult when persons can not even acquire the tires to do so.

Broadband internet has become part of both our social and working lifestyles. Rather it be a home-based business or the ederly applying for benifets, highspeed internet is a necessity in todays world. Being a father of 8 I know the importance of access to the world wide web for my children to do even the simplest of task with their schooling.

Every one needs access and should not be denied it through property boundries or local restrictions. Internet has become a need not leisure.  By all standards it should have already become a utility. You dont believe me? Take thirty minutes out of your busy day and stop by any local library and ask for the weekly average count of people who visit simpley to use a desktop to access their email or apply for jobs.

HollerNet was founded with the envision of supplying real broadband service to the rural out-lining areas of East Tennessee. In under a year it spread to reach from Knoxville to Rogersville and from Gatlinburg to the Clinch Mountains. Making it the largest coverage wireless internet service provider (W.I.S.P.) in the state. Still growing weekly, HollerNet provides its customers with a symmetrical fiber-like connection while leaving it un-throttled and un-caped. Using state of the art equipment and patiented load balancing, HollerNet's customers receive on average a 150MBs X 90MBs connection to the network. All the while taking advantage of a non contractual term and pre-paid service(pay as you go) at a cost of only $87.99/month. Plans also consist of $4.99/day or 29.99/week.

Customers access to this kind of high speed does more that just open the avenue of social services and enjoyment. By utilizing the high rate download speed, one can begin to stream desirable movies or T.V. shows creating a alternative to high cost satellite or cable broadcasting. With the more than enough high speed upload, customers can began to cancel their land or fax lines by converting over to V.O.I.P and cut out that middle man to turn the conversation into a digital signal.  Just these two of the many benifits of high speed internet provided by HollerNet can easily generate an average of $180.00 of disposible income back into the homes of its customers each month.  That's is alot for those families working for low wages and living from paycheck to paycheck.

Moving foward with network expansion, HollerNet plans to pave the way in the near future by offering small townships and municalities the option of purchasing their own network and becoming Internet Providers to their communities. In doing so, Hollernet can hand-off or build the desired network for a fraction of the cost that it would take these underprivileged areas to buy or lease in ground fiber. Hollernet would provide and mantain multiple gig backhauls to these intities and share its patiented load balancing scheme assuring the avalability for thousands of client on the network table. Imagine......a small coutry town increasing its working capital by way of MRC by $100k or more a month.

So join hands in battling the greedy large Coorperations of yesterday and like and share this information. Togather we can make a difference in our childrens lives and the legacy we leave them.  By making as much in ground fiber worthless as we can we can also, perhaps, run a few lobbiest out of D.C. and state capitals.
