Local Lincare Centers Participate in Hershey, PA ALS Walk

A local ALS Walk was held Saturday, June 3rd, in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Lincare was a proud sponsor and had several local Centers, along with their family and friends, come together to participate in this event to recognize the impact that ALS has on people's lives and to show how Lincare supports our patients through our services and clinical support.? Area Manager Jennifer Millar said, “I appreciate everyone on my team coming out to support our community at the Hershey ALS event. They are a strong team of caring and driven individuals that have shown true compassion to our patients. I am very proud to work next to each and every one of them.”??

Many participants were dressed in t-shirts with messages of support, encouragement, and hope for a cure. This event showed how important it is to have a strong community, and how much we can accomplish when we work together towards a common goal.??

Harrisburg Center Manager, Nichole Vardzik stated, “Being able to take part in the ALS walk is something that we are very passionate about, not just here at our Center, but all of Lincare. I am extremely proud to be part of such a great team and be able to take part in something so special in the community. Seeing all the people come together to walk and raise awareness not only for their own loved ones but others as well, is something truly amazing.”?

During the event, Lincare was presented with an award and acknowledged as the Top corporate team of 2023. The ALS Walk is an excellent example of how collective participation can positively impact people's lives and send a strong message of solidarity.?
