Lobonok Chief Sustains bullet wounds, Igga Pays Hospital Visit.

Dr. James Wani Igga has paid a hospital visit to check on Chief Matayo Kenyi Jale who was admitted last night in Freedom International Hospital.
The hospitalized Matayo Kenyi, Head Chief of Lo’bonok Payam is said to have been shot by an SSPDF Soldier stationed in Pager hills of Luwala Boma in Lo’bonok since 2020.
According to reports, the Soldier identified by a single name Pvt. Dut intended to kill the chief for complain of him overstaying in Lo’bonok with no consideration for transfer by the chiefs.
“The Chief is under stable situation and control and no serious risks have been reported by the doctors,” A statement posted on the official Facebook page of the vice president for economic cluster, Prof. James Wani Igga.
Media reports earlier this week spread information of Chief Kenyi being shot on Tuesday evening around 7:00PM CAT.
“The culprit came to chief’s residence several times during the day with various demands for money, alcohol, food and other basic needs,” The Facebook post noted.
Dr. James Wani Igga during his visit to the hospital assured that the government and the military Headquarters will take serious measures to bring the culprit to book.
