It's graduation/end of school week for a lot of folks it seems and many have told me that things have slowed down for the moment. Let's hope that the faucet turns back on soon. In my neck of the woods, I have seen several homes hit the market, so summer selling season might be upon us. To quote the 1996 Chicago Bulls "What time is it? GAMETIME!"
#HighFiveFriday #BAM
These are my 5 favorite poste from mortgage folks this week.
Up First, Andres Tamayo has been putting out some great content recently and really adding to my feed. This post caught my eye as I thought it stresses the importance of guarding your time and being intentional about who you work with and increasing your conversion ratios.
Second, Ivan Simental poses a question that makes you look inward: "Are you just doing your job or making a difference?" Loved that question. Take some time to read this post and reflect on the level of service you are providing. Those that are "overdelivering" are setting themselves up for growth in the future.
Third, Matt Gehr provides an uplifting post that should give us all hope. In the midst of the challenges in this market, Matt shares that he is having his best production month EVER. Congrats on the hard work and the continued grind. Thank you for demonstrating that it does pay off.
Fourth, Bryan Lovell shares a short video on the importance of having a vision. This has been a theme that I continue to see and hear recently and I think it is so spot on. Know what you want and how you want to get there. Hope is not a strategy. Plan your steps and take action with purpose.
And finally, Jason Sheppard, AMP, aPHR starts a debate between Broker and Retail and I wanted to highlight the post in case others would want to join in on the Comments to help him out.
Podcast of the Week:
Mortgages. Money. Life - 4 Things you NEED to Measure in your Mortgage Business - Trevor Hammond and Val Miller speak about the value in measuring certain KPIs in your business to gauge success and growth for the future.

SOLO Tip of the Week:
Set the Table.
I read this statement last week:
Amateurs play the table. Professionals set the table.
Simply put, don't play every game, don't chase every deal. Focus on the deals that you know you can win and work with the people that you know will be loyal.
You're time is precious. Protect it and set the table for more winnable scenarios.
Dad Joke:
What did the Carpenter say when he finished building the house?
NAILED IT!
Have a great week everyone!
