This week has been interesting as I have had several conversations with Loan Officers that are getting increasingly frustrated. And when you dig a little deeper, many of them are simply yearning to do something different. Hopefully brighter days are ahead and these talented folks will get more wins in the future. This market is teaching us all the value of perseverance. Hang in there folks.

These are my 5 favorite posts from mortgage folks this week.
Up First, David Orban has been sharing his call stats on the daily. Give him a follow to get a glimpse into the type of grind that many are going through to get the results they desire in this market. Thanks for sharing David.
Second, Chad Earnest reflects on the chaos that was 2020 and the insane pipelines that many were managing at the time. In this post, he illustrates that importance of a strong support system. Whether it is a spouse, children, friends, co-workers, a mentor or leader, having someone there for you when you're working your tail off is so valuable.
Third, Jake Vermillion shares a post about a new book coming out that is co-authored by Dale Vermillion , Coach Bill Hart , and Kyle Draper?? . It could use your support in order to be able to host LIVE streams here on LinkedIn in the future. Check out the link and give them a follow. You know it will be full of value and insights.
Fourth, Cache Nies offers a great tip on how to avoid making impulsive purchases and making sure that you don't have buyer's remorse in the future. Great tip Cache, thank you for sharing.
And finally, Greg Sher shares a relationship audit process that he went through in the past and the steps that he took to make sure that there was equal value being given in the relationships in his life. Whether it's personal or business, there is a ton of value in the suggestions that Greg shares here.

SOLO Tip of the Week:
Don't ignore what you love about your job.
Is there an element of your job that you absolutely love to do? If so, is there a way to develop that further? Could you hire someone to do other parts of the job that you don't enjoy so that you could focus more on the parts that you do love? Could you coach others on what you love to do?
Whatever it is, don't ignore your passions. When you are operating at peak passion, you are giving your best to those around you, and you will radiate.
Dad Jokes of the Week:
How does a train hear another train coming?
With its engine-ears
What time does a duck wake up?
At the quack of dawn
What brand of shoes do chickens wear?
Ree-bok-bok-bok!

9 个月Hey Connor thanks for sharing my interview with Jeff---Jeff did a great job explaining how pricing is done. Too often I see LOs and Leaders not understanding how capital markets work. So I am glad you shared it. Let's schedule a call I would love to catch up. You do a terrific job with your posts. I love reading them. Pat
