This issue covers news nuggets, an article discussing standards and Quality Control Orders (QCOs) which are now considered as the backbone of India’s quality revolution, and updates relating to QCOs. The part on QCO Updates covers upcoming QCOs due for implementation, new QCOs notified in the gazette, QCOs notified by India in WTO, and different extensions/amendments made to the existing QCOs.

This newsletter by the LKS Supply Chain Team also highlights that companies manufacturing/selling/importing copper, aluminium and aluminium alloys, and nickel as raw materials or finished goods; construction and engineering industries engaged in the use of wire ropes, strands, etc.; and chemical and textile Industries, are likely to be impacted by the QCOs to be implemented in upcoming months.
