Living the Uncertain Life: An Entrepreneur's Journey

Living the Uncertain Life: An Entrepreneur's Journey

In the beginning, being an entrepreneur is exciting. You have a vision that you believe in and will do anything to make it happen. The promise of success is alluring and you are willing to take on any challenge without hesitation. But as time goes by, the journey becomes less glamorous and fulfilling than expected. It requires more sacrifices than originally thought possible with seemingly no end in sight. Uncertainty starts creeping into your thoughts about whether or not this is really what you want for yourself- but then there's always another day ahead of you, one where maybe things will change for the better again...

From the outside, entrepreneurship looks like a roller coaster. It's shiny and colorful with lots of twists and turns that don't look entirely safe but still make you want to get in line for your turn. The moment we enter the ride though, it becomes so much more than just an amusement park attraction--it takes over our lives completely

.We forego other things--friends, family, sleep--to try and make our idea a reality. There are moments where we feel on top of the world- it's exhilarating to see something you've created coming together right before your eyes in ways that only dreams can rival. And then there are those days when nothing seems to work.

Your business is not growing at the pace you like in spite of the long hours you're putting in, and you feel like you're being pulled out of the game by forces beyond your control.

The reality is that it's not always a smooth ride--and there are plenty of times when we question whether or not this was what we truly wanted all along. You might be thinking that all this frustration would vanish if your business was generating 7 figures or more in revenue, but I promise you that it won't. It's these days of struggle and uncertainty- the moments when we feel like giving up where we find our true strength.

In fact, all those times in your life when you felt most alive are ones with a certain degree of risk involved--the opportunities to learn from mistakes, and more importantly have something to look back on and say, "I did that. I succeeded."
