Living in the Present!

Living in the Present!

We had our monthly catch-up call with our partner yesterday. During the conversation, he touched upon the importance of 'living in the present.' He emphasized that in this day and age, where things are so unpredictable, we must all learn to simply live and experience the present without worrying about what will happen in the future, as that is beyond our control. It is such a simple but powerful statement that is relevant both at work and in life in general. However, the question remains: how do we accomplish this? How do we seize the moment and live every second to the fullest?

One of the simplest ways to live in the present moment is to be childlike. If we want to reconnect with ourselves and understand what life is truly about, we just need to observe a child for a few minutes. They have no preconceived notions of how things should look or be. The words 'should' and 'shouldn't' are not part of their vocabulary. They don't have the same labels that we do, or at least, they are not attached to them. Therefore, a tree can become a fort, and a bush can transform into a hideout. It won't take long before we appreciate the joy, simplicity, and presence that a child exudes. Perhaps we may even wonder, 'How can I be more like him/her?'"#Embracethepresent.

Lovely article, just to add to your thoughts as an adult to embrace something you need to either unlearn something you know or let go !!
