Living Our Values at Mark Allen Group

Last week, we came together for a truly unique and unforgettable away day at South Lodge Hotel and Spa. A pivotal moment in the Mark Allen Group journey as we unveiled our newly defined core values:

Passionate, Creative, Nurturing, and Fair

Our CEO, Ben Allen set the tone for the day with a warm welcome, thanking everyone for making time to be part of this monumental occasion. He emphasized the significance of this moment, not just for our company’s 40-year legacy but for the future we’re building together.

We were also delighted that our Chairman, Mark Allen joined us to witness this special moment as we took the next step in shaping our culture and aligning for the future. His presence underscored the importance of these values to our ongoing success.

Our Talent Director, Claire Wise has worked tirelessly across the business to craft these values, ensuring they truly reflect who we are and where we’re heading and outlining the agenda for the day. Behind the scenes, this journey has been over a year in the making and to see come to life was truly rewarding.

The day was filled with inspiration and collaboration. We were privileged to hear from two incredibly motivating speakers, Ben Askins and Zoe Tuffs who sparked fresh perspectives and energised us to think big.

In the afternoon, we rolled up our sleeves for group discussions, focusing on how to bring these values to life in everything we do, and how we can walk the walk, not just talk the talk.

Our COO, Jon Benson closed the day with thoughtful reflections on what we had achieved before Ben rounded off with heartfelt appreciation for the energy, ideas, and commitment in the room.

The day didn’t end there. We embraced the stunning facilities at South Lodge, enjoying a gala dinner that brought everyone together in celebration, followed by a music quiz that spanned decades and generations.

This day wasn’t just about defining values; it was about living them and shaping the foundation for the next chapter of the Mark Allen Group .
