Artificial intelligence is questioned a lot. But it also brings us new opportunities. Will our painters be forgotten or become obsolete due to AI? If you ask me, the question should be more like: how can we build on the success of yesterday's and today's painters to create new art pieces? How can we bring the best of both worlds together, the creative masterminds and technology, to explore new horizons? This is the essence of creativity right?

What fascinates me is that the algorithm, trained with thousands of paintings, understands that a sky is usually blue-ish and that it has a lighter color than a surface (the ground). That buildings are, in most cases, brown-ish and that rounded forms can be trees, and thus be green-ish.... The machine just needs a sketch and can create, in real time, an artistic expression of the scenery.

Even more fascinating is the real time dimension. Most tech solutions need a 'press on a button' to start doing something. A command. But is that truly necessary or a simple lack of smart technology to let something great happen in real time?
