In Living, Loving Color

Have you ever dreamed of living in a land with such color and magic? I believe sensitive, creative people want to see the world like this. As an empath, my childhood was filled with color and beauty but was a bit sheltered from the realities of the world's conditions. I believed in magic and Disney movies and musicals that made life sound so entrancing. I was a fan of happy endings.

I believe that there is beauty all around us that can uplift our spirits moment to moment. Nature is so important for it gives us a clue to the vast love that brings seemly dead trees alive in spring with colors so beautiful that they exceed the color of the photo above. Sometimes, when we are caught up in our stuff, we freak out when the guy in front of us in traffic is moving too slowly or our partner left the bathroom cabinet open-yah, the little stuff that takes away our joy. If you take a moment to really be present, a whole new world of life, vibrancy, and possibility exists and can lift us up from the really silly things that can bring us down. Life pulsates, our hearts beat and there is always another chance to be grateful for each and every moment. We just have to stop and appreciate the beauty all around us. Thank you life for giving me so many things to be grateful for that I never saw before. Thank you for pointing me in the direction of hope, love, and joy and showing me how to slow me down long enough to breathe in life's beauty.

I just watered my plants and that made my day.
