Living Life All In

Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. A day to honor a man who lived his life fully and gave himself over to his calling, holding nothing back. A true inspiration and a role model on how to live life all in.

Throughout history, our world has been shaped and propelled forward by brave souls like Dr. King. Visionaries who answer the call to dedicate their lives to something so much greater than themselves. Visionaries who knew life is meant to be spent living.

I cannot help but wonder what would have happened if Dr. King had not risen up. If he had stayed on the sidelines and chosen to play it safe. I wonder where we would be. Where our world would be... I’m grateful that we don’t have to find out.

We all owe him so much.

Today, let’s honor Dr. King's sacrifices and dedicate our own lives to causes outside of ourselves and our comfort zone. Causes that give back to others and leave the world brighter than we found it.

I am convinced that if the world didn’t need our unique gifts, talents and light, we would not be here. We don’t know how long we will be here or how we will go, but no matter what, let's live a little more like Dr. King today and go all in.
