Living in a Lie, Means Living in Fear

I'm trying to wrap my head around a few glaring truths in all the lies -

#1 - The Managing Director of Silicon Valley Bank Israel Gadi Moshe , is also the Chief Democracy Officer Tech For Israel - the leaders of the anti-government protest.

#2 - Have to translate this brilliant post for you by Elad Itzkovitch where he shared a tweet by Papaya Global CEO Eynat Guez gushing about how quickly she can get startup funds back into Israeli banks in two hours - after being the first ringleader to declare she's taking her money out of Israel. He wrote: You know those annoying people who have an accident abroad but didn't take out insurance - then turn the world upside down so we all end up helping them? Well, they don't give the money back but actually go abroad again without insurance - because they know we're the type of country built on mutual support. But the joke is on us he says, because the high-tech sector will now be bailed out with the tax us regular citizens pay.

#3 - SVB CEO Sold $3.6 Million Worth of Shares Before Bank's Collapse The Street ... Greg Becker sold his shares on Feb. 27, 11 days before Silicon Valley Bank was shut down by regulators.

My Commentary

I imagine that this is how things will be in the near future - tons of problems will keep popping up everywhere until we don't know what to do with ourselves.

This whole financial bubble that just burst has come to show us once again how meaningless this whole game with money is - the trading, currencies, hedge funds. I don’t want to even think about all these lies or allow them to influence me.

I prefer to think about how to pull ourselves out of this. Life has taught me that hate breeds hate and love breeds love. We can’t force others to understand what we understand. But what we can do is use standard channels to influence other people. All the thousands of protesters could have gone online to try to change public opinion. But of course that won't happen because you have to apply yourself for many years to educating others and it's very challenging. It's much easier to go out into the street and cause chaos that impacts us here in Israel and the whole world in a negative way.

Let’s not imagine that there is any genuine solidarity or patriotism here - the truth is very far from it. But speaking about the truth is very problematic because it's all relative. There's around 9 million people in Israel, so there's also around 9 million opinions. Everyone has their own truth - who’s right? I don’t know - everyone feels what they feel and it’s a very fluid thing. Every day we can feel differently or be impacted differently. There’s no stability, no awareness or recognition of what the truth really is.

What's happening right now in Israel is that we're coming to the truth in a negative way. With each new day we’re finding out more lies on top of more lies - how people are getting paid to protest, truck drivers are getting paid to block traffic, and how the evil money is coming from abroad. So the greater the lies - the more we’re able to recognize the truth.? And along the way we see our true face - the growing levels of division and hate here in Israel.?

We can't allow ourselves to continue this way because we'll start dismantling what we built over the last 70 years piece by piece. This is a real problem because we’re known to be a tough people. Everyone will feel that they are completely justified. No one will compromise or put their head down, and we’ll end up killing each other.

This is a time to hit PAUSE and understand that the truth is made up of a series of compromises. There are many highly diverse parts of the population that are influenced by different sources. Our whole diverse society needs to find a path that’s good for everyone because none of us are going to change - that’s for sure. But from these attempts to bridge the gaps between us something must be born. Anyone who says it must be done their way and only their way - that’s a lie. There are many people in our nation and they all need recognition. So we need to see how to do it correctly.?

It's really a frightening situation. I literally don’t remember seeing anything like this in my lifetime. On the other hand, all these lies and the bad way we treat each other; all the pain and suffering we’ll attract will force us to find a better compromise that will bring about a change in our relations (rather than going back to how we did things in the past). This is true for the economic sector as well. The economy needs to be built on achievements not destruction. The success of any company can only be built on a balanced economy. And we won’t be able to develop all the other aspects of society until our economy is balanced. So the first priority is to change the economic method and values.?

I started writing about the banking bubble that just burst and how it’s connected to truth and lies, society and economy, and got all the way to building a true pluralist society - this is our multi-layered and multi-faceted life - there’s no way around it. The more we open our eyes to the truth, the more we can minimize the pain and destruction, and we’ll head into a new era.

In every rotting part of a seed?there is ultimately the development of a new form. I didn’t just make this up - it’s a biological rule at every level of nature.

I want to end this on an optimistic note, despite all the destruction. Hopefully we’ll stop all this excessive violence. We were given a head above our shoulders for a reason. Wishing every single person in Israel good luck - including Jews, Arabs, Druze. We’ll need each and every person to reach a new and better way of life.?
