Through the eyes of a child
There is innocence and wonder
Day dreams and night dreams
Vivid displays
Pirate ships
Fairy castles
Santa in the snow
Their Imagination has no limitations
Their mind a magic show
To be young again
The excitement of the festive season
Not being able to sleep
The far off mystic lands and secrets they keep
The tooth fairy to collect their milky whites
Whilst they are tucked up in their beds
Placing a coin under their heads
The Easter bunny and Bonfire night
Fireworks a magical sight
Sparklers that light up the sky
The glistening and enjoyment in their eyes
A birthday surprise
With plenty of treats
The world their oyster
Destiny at their feet
So much they will see and learn
On this journey through life
Books allow them to dream away
Looking at what part they will play
Wishes made that can come true
When you believe in magic like they do -
Luck is sure to find you :)
Aspirations coming to light
Sharing their many insights
Allowing them to just be
Children playing - feeling care free
The way it's supposed to be
