Living Hope …
1 Peter 2:3 ~ now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.?
Abba Father good morning ~ Everyone grows up remembering moments in life. They become a piece of who we are. Some are precious and linger unforgettable. Others not so good; we just soon forget. The disciples actively shared what they witnessed, experienced, lived. How their life and the lives of real people living real life were dramatically transformed by the presence of Christ Jesus Our Lord. The time they spend must have been almost overwhelming. They witnessed miraculous miracles never before seen. Healings of sickness’s, blindness, crippled: all engaging a new life. Calming of violent storms, feedings of thousands, raising of the dead: all miraculous miracles. They all witnessed a tremendous week of continuous affirmation with celebrations forever embedded deep within their heart, their mind, their soul. Lord Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a colt with crowds boldly shouting and declaring “Hosanna to the son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!” Crowds boldly, courageously, fearlessly praising the name of Lord Jesus declaring long live the King. Paving a path with their cloaks, waving palm branches, boldly singing “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!” Something changed within that week. It all appeared to go so terribly wrong. They witnessed more miracles. They saw Lord Jesus teaching to thousands. Crowds gathered. They shared the meal of preparation in breaking of the bread and drinking of the wine in the upper room. They went to the garden of Gethsemane late in the evening and witness Our Lord Christ Jesus being arrested. They witnessed the severing of the ear of a soldier and miraculous miracle of Christ Jesus reaching out within agape love; intimately reattaching the ear of an arresting soldier. They witnessed mocking’s, persecution, trial, crucifixion. It all appeared to go so wrong. They looked on in debrief, shock, wondering how this could be. How could this happen. What went wrong? Their faith challenged within a moment of disbelief. There are times in life our faith will be challenged. We might ask the same questions. Feel the same feelings. Wondering what went so wrong. Like the disciples feeling lost, panic-set-in, fear became real, uncertainty was immediately present. What would they do? What will we do? Remember, in the mists of the storms of life is where miracles become real. As the disciples scrambled within fear the biggest, the greatest, the most intimate miracle occurs. Christ Jesus is raised from the dead within the powerful resurrection. Hope is alive. Hope is real. Living hope will cleanse, redeem, restore. Hope is for all of life. The disciple’s lives were forever changed within that miraculous moment. They no longer could sit quietly within fear. What they witnessed must be shared boldly, courageously, fearlessly. It could not be kept secret. Just like our life in what appears to be the darkest hour. Our Lord Christ Jesus appears faithfully, willingly, desiring to bring intimate transformation within our heart, our mind, our soul. Hope is real, alive, restored. Willingly believing, accepting, trusting, following within Christ Jesus deep within our inner-core of thriving life within our heart, our mind, our soul something miraculously changes within. There is new passion. An undeniable encounter. A deep desire for boldness, courageousness, fearlessness with a willingness to openly share this life-changing truthfulness. What we engage in the storms of everyday life within Christ Jesus Our Lord. Are free-gifts of undeserved grace breathing living hope, agape love, sacrificial forgiveness, everlasting life in heaven. The living bible teaches these were very difficult times for the disciples and real people that opening shared the good news of Lord Jesus within this world of brokenness. Our life will experience these same times, Same challenges. Anointed blessings will be breathed upon our life. Interesting, this same world seems to be curious, searching, but not very receptive. It is not easy to share this good news about Our Lord Christ Jesus when we are constantly under attack, openly mocked, continuously insulted. It hurts to hear the Lord’s name used in despicable ways. Remember, participating within The Lord Our God has tremendous rewards. Willingly, boldly, courageously, fearlessly; openly sharing the living hope of Christ Jesus’s non-judgmental acceptance, sacrificial forgiveness, everlasting life in heaven with this sinful world. Will bring living affirmation, undeniable faithfulness, anointed promises within God the Father ~ God the Son ~ God the Holy Spirit actively alive within our life. We do have a choice, a decision, a way of life to choose. The choice we make live intimately within our heart, our mind, our soul. Reflect with utmost urgency. This life counts my friend.?
Father ~ Thank you for the goodness of life-changing undeserved grace. Free-gifts intimately cleansing, redeeming, restoring all my sinfulness. Breathe protective blessings into my inner-core of thriving life; open my heart, my mind, my soul to live boldly, taste courageously, fearlessly breathe life at its very best. Help me to live within living hope, agape love, sacrificial forgiveness, everlasting life in heaven within you forever Abba Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit.
