Living Belden’s Core Values – We Invest in Talent
At Belden, our values shape the culture of our organization and define our character. We live these values every day and they serve as a foundation for how we act and make decisions. Like every organization we are not perfect at everything all the time, and our Values keep us focused on the things that matter most to all of us.
Each quarter, we ask employees to nominate their peers for living one of our core values. Just recently, we were able to recognize four employees from across the Belden organization for our core value of We Invest in Talent with our Q1 Anchor Awards.
I’d like to take this opportunity to honor and recognize our recent Anchor Award winners, and to thank them for bringing their best to work every day. When we share our individual skills, knowledge and experiences with one another, we become a stronger organization.
- Kathleen Dollimore – Kathleen was nominated for her exceptional engagement in the growth and development of her team members and colleagues at Belden Canada. She's committed to identifying potential in people and creating a place to work where they can be their best selves every day!
- Alessia Favaro – Alessia led more than 50 webinars last year to demonstrate, both inside and outside of Belden, the impact and goals of our new Customer Innovation Centers (CIC) initiative. She's also leading the way on launching all the CIC training on our online learning platform.
- David Zhou – David joined the Belden APAC financial team five years ago and has played a critical role in attracting and developing exceptional finance talent to the company. A champion of our Early Career Leadership Program, David serves as a mentor, and goes above and beyond to help team members develop the skills they need for success.
- Leonardo Franz – At Belden over the last few years, over 75% of the vacancies in our top 200 positions were filled with internal talent! Leonardo embodies our strong belief in developing and promoting talent from within. He is adept at recognizing potential in individuals and providing support and opportunities to help them realize it. His dedication to development helps employees quickly and easily adapt to new roles and responsibilities.
