Join us once again for our 2016 patient and public conference- Wednesday 21st September 2016- Mountbatten Centre.
Arthritis and connective tissue disease affect people of all ages and from all walks of life. Its symptoms often have a big impact on the daily lives of people
It is well recognised that living with arthritis and connective tissues diseases isn't easy and for some even carrying out simple, everyday tasks can often be painful and difficult.
The good news is that whatever type of arthritis or connective tissue disease you have, there are many things you and your health care team can do to make sure you live a healthy life.
This one day free conference is open to patients and members of the public ,will put you on the path to managing your arthritis and connective tissue disease. Throughout the day you will be able to listen to presentations and discussion with health care professionals important up to date/ research based care and treatments enabling you to take an active role in understanding your condition and treatment options. By doing this, you will experience less pain & fatigue and stay more active than those who feel there is nothing they can do.
Previous conference delegates tell us that it is important to take time to understand what type of arthritis they have and then discover what they can do gives them back a feeling of control over their lives and their health.
