Liverpool: Isle of Man Terminal
Cammell Laird are very pleased to see the Isle of Man Ferry Terminal progressing after the groundbreaking ceremony today. The Liverpool to Isle of Man ferry link is an important transportation link. Cammell Laird hosted the Isle of Man Chief Minister Howard Quayle on the Thursday. During the Friday Ferry Terminal groundbreaking ceremony Mr Quayle said: "The Isle of Man and Liverpool share a strong relationship based on our maritime connection, with a ferry route which has operated for more than 200 years." That relationship continues today with the close links between the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company and Cammell Laird. The investment in a new Ferry Terminal is a sign the next 200 years of ferry services are being planned.
