Sponsored by Commutual, The Liverpool City Region Community Arts & Music Awards recognise the achievements and best practice of third sector and not for profit organisations across the Liverpool City Region in recognition of arts and music delivered directly within our local communities and neighborhoods.
The Awards are a great opportunity to share best practice, reward achievements, celebrate groups and organisations and recognise the importance and difference arts and music make to local communities.
The general public have been asked nominate organisations and individuals and the winners will be announced at a Grand Black Tie Gala Dinner held at the Florence Institute Trust on this Friday 20th April 2018, hosted by Liverpool’s very own Ricky Tomlinson with special guests.
I am very pleased to announce that the Good Samaritans Album Project has been nominated in the Health and Well Being category and in one other category to be announced on the night of the awards. The album will feature amongst others The Who, Billy Bragg, Christy Moore, Martin Carthy, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic string quartet, Declan O'Rourke, OMD and many others full details to be announced at the launch party on 10th October World Mental Health day at the British Music Experience Cunard Building, Pier Head, Liverpool.
