Lived

If I could, I'd tell her,

that courage was an art form

her fears would soon learn to color.

I'd hold her till disbelief

morphed her demons into stardust

and made castles into the night.

I'd take her to

hollow beginnings so she'd know that

everything that lasts isn't the last.

I'd teach her that

love was never a treasure hunt,

but only a lullaby to sing on her journey.

Her as I see her now,
