I keep a small flip calendar on my work desk of quotes by Martin Luther King, Jr. They inspire me and remind me of the courage we need at work and in our social circles if we are to be true to our values.

Recently, I gave a webinar on leadership lessons and my friend and host, @Scott Luton shared a personal story that resonated with me and also inspired me. Scott and his wife teach their children to live by three initials - P.T.K. Patience. Tolerance. Kindness. What a simple and wonderful paradigm!

As we flip the page to a new month, let's use the clean slate of the next 31 days to live with courage and conviction and to always do what's right- in both small and big ways.
