Live your life like an iPhone!

Live your life like an iPhone!

During the past 20 months, we have all slowly began to learn and accept how important well-being is. But, I'm not yet convinced that we really are creating enough influence and change on self-restoration and self-care. We are talking about it more, we are looking at ways on how we can do it better but are we missing a crucial step in the process - personal acceptance and awareness.

This led me to my next thought, How different do you think life would be if you lived it as your iPhone?!

We spend most days checking and ensuring that our battery isn't going to die, just as we need it, or about to go onto our next call of the day and, as soon as we do notice the battery dropping we instantly look for a charger to preserve that battery life!

What if we were all fitted with a battery life that we could see, a constant visual of how tired, burnt out we are. Would we pay the same attention? Would we instantly look for a comfy bed and duvet to restore and rebuild our own battery? Equally, one that would tell you when you were fully charged again and ready to get back to it!

We are in a constant state of rapid activity whenever your phone is in your hand, and just like you add, update and delete apps on your phone as your needs change, or the world changes around you, what if we put the same effort into ensuring our own updates to Continued Personal Development. In terms of knowledge we wouldn't accept an answer from Siri that was based on data 10 years ago, so why should we do so with regard to our own learning and development. Imagine being able to become more adept at working in future thinking knowledge streams, rather than recycling knowledge banks we have stored for too long.

My last thought was around how we protect our iPhone, we build forts around our iPhone both for the exterior and interior. We protect the outside by utilising cases, screen protectors, we build protection for the data the iPhone holds internally. We should be ensuring that we build resilience and protection for ourselves also. This should be all 3 elements, Emotional, Psychical, and Mental. What are our own protection barriers and are we actually taking notice of them.

If this article resonates with you, accept and be aware of how you could be living differently, what one thing could you change that would have a positive impact on you today. Put in the time, effort, and care you would for your iPhone and see what happens!

Don't wait until it deteriorates before you appreciate your own health and wellbeing.

Love this Michelle ?? What a really interesting thought! It's so true we often overlook our own self-care and restoration with the busy lives we all seem to lead these days..
