Live United, More Than A Shirt

This year has been challenging and unprecedented; one in which we will look back on telling stories to the generations after us of what we did to prevail and support ourselves, Our Families, and Our Community.

At Caterpillar, we’ve always been about helping others and strengthening the community. For more than 60 years, Caterpillar has supported the United Way because its mission and work aligns with Our Values in Action and supports the health, welfare, and economic stability of communities in which we work and live.

Today, August 17th, we kick off the 2020 Caterpillar Employee United Way Appeal. I made sure to get my pledge today, on day one, and I challenge every one of my colleagues across the nation to pledge early and put your community first.

At Kemper Valve, we are driven to give where we live, and we had some amazing results last year. So much that we received recognition from the Local McHenry County United Way for the engagement and efforts of Our Team.

2019 Highlights 

• 100% Response Rate accompanied with 94.44% Donor Participation
• Every location increased in Donor Participation from 2018 to 2019.
• All-in we DOUBLED our pledge dollars year over year yet again

Due to the global pandemic, I know this campaign will be different, but I have confidence in this team to support Our Communities' needs.  #KemperValve
