LIVE ON!

LIVE ON!

The World Health Organisation does its best to create awareness. Ironically we all live in a world which is so well connected & still disconnected. Virtually integrated but really disintegrated. It is a regular feature today that children cannot hear a NO. The stories of the end results of denial of something as materialistic as a smartphone is a suicide. Every other day there is a report of a suicide by an adolescent over a parent not buying a cellphone. Is it the parenting to blame ? Are we at fault? Is giving the child everything she/he asks for a sign of weakness from our end? Our homes have everything money can buy. Should we list out those things that are free which we have? Are we all racing against time to to find something which is with us. Are we not having time to connect inwards? If we as individuals are happy it starts reflecting on the people surrounding us. Agree? The ones who fought the toughest period, held themselves together & faced the world are the ones who made all the difference.

Happiness that can be shared will be doubled

Emotions that need to be harnessed, when I am troubled

Awareness that keeps a tab on how I react

Loneliness is what I need to get hacked

Time is what I need to give myself & not strife

Humor is all that I need find in my shelf of life.

If each of these qualities we build in consciously, Life definitely will be a blessing for us & for every one around us. Let us pledge to make that difference around us , so the ripple effect can pass on the cheer. Maya Angelou sums it so beautifully for us :
