What does it mean to work at the Customer Center Italy and have the opportunity to take part in a special edition of Smart Cruising Educational aboard Costa Fortuna during a Caribbean cruise?
There's nothing more effective than experiencing something firsthand to tell its story in the best way!
So we asked Francesco Napoli - Head of Commercial Operations Italy, to share something about this invaluable journey.
"It was a moment of strong enrichment for each of the 30 colleagues... We got to 'experience' our product, living the experience both on board and on land during the excursions we participated in.
At the same time, it was also a unique opportunity for team building and strengthening relationships within our team – Francesco explains.
"The days were all very instructive, but equally intense. In line with the time zone, in the morning we gathered in an area of the restaurant, set up and dedicated to the scheduled routine work activities.
In the afternoon, we enjoyed engaging excursions and stimulating team activities, both on land and on board.

Thanks to the fundamental collaboration of the entire onboard staff, we had the opportunity to organize exclusive moments with the Key Positions, delving into the value of our colleagues' daily work and sharing opinions and ideas...
We were allowed to visit 'off-limits' areas for guests, experiencing the unique thrill of accessing the Deck, the galley, and the kitchens.
We also took part in excursions tailored to our group, discovering the unique natural beauty of the different islands reached during the cruise.
All this allowed us to learn many aspects of onboard work and the product and notice some details that we would have never grasped from afar, from our desks in the office.
The group's feedback was very positive, and we returned to Italy even more enthusiastic about being part of our Company.
This experience will undoubtedly enable us to interact better with the people who contact us daily for information and to book our cruises and to add further value to the content shared with both Travel Agencies and our potential customers, thus increasing sales.
Special thanks to the Captain and his team, Guest Relation Manager Randy, Tour Manager Giulio, Hotel Director Isabel Kuzmic, and all the colleagues of Costa Fortuna for welcoming us and allowing us to enter the wonderful world of the ship.
