Live Moore: Fall Colors

If you have not booked your trip to see the season’s colors in the northeast, you might be too late. This year the leaves have been spectacular—or maybe just getting out of the house makes them seem even more beautiful. We are fortunate to have stunning fall foliage to view in the US. My favorite places in the US to view the colors are Vermont, Alaska, Colorado, Maine, New York, and New Hampshire. However, have you considered visiting Europe in the fall to see their colors?. Here are a few of my favorite places:?

1. Tuscany, Italy—the vineyard colors and the snow of the Alps are breathtaking. You might want to take a cooking class while you are there.?
2. Kyoto, Japan—it is a must-see during cherry blossom season and in the autumn. Plan to visit some ancient temples and gardens and take a selfie photo at the Togetsu-Kyo bridge.?
3. Bavarian Alps, Germany—the forest and mountains are transformed into a color painting. Visit all the castles in the Black Forest region.?
4. Douro Valley, Portugal—go for the colors and the wine.?
5. Seoul, South Korea—the fall is the best time of the year to visit the temples, parks, and especially Gyeongbokgung Palace—the largest of Seoul’s five palaces.
