Dear reader,
There is a very simple method to…
- Live longer,
- … in better health
- … with lots of energy
- … and with an alert brain.
Would you like to know about this simple method?
This method is… drum roll please… FASTING.
What? Fasting? But isn’t fasting depriving our body of necessary fuel to keep it functioning?
Intuition #1: Driving without fuel? That’s a stupid idea!
Intuitively, our first reaction is that fasting has to be a bad strategy… just driving a car with an empty tank.
The problem is that too many people see their body like they see a car, a mechanical device. The reality is quite different.
Western populations are used to eat food in abundance throughout the year. Carbohydrates are an important part of our diet. Yet, few of us use our physical strength to work.
Studies and experience showed that fasting actually improves our body’s resistance and longevity.
In the 1930s, studies have shown that reducing rats’ daily caloric intake by 30%, their risk of chronic diseases decreased and so did their longevity. [1]
Do you know what happened after the 1929 Great Depression in the United States? A famine.
A large portion of the population fell into extreme poverty to the point that people had almost no food to eat.
What do you think was observed? An increase in mortality? No. On the contrary, in some groups among those most affected by poverty, life expectancy increased by 6 years! [2]

9 年It's funny because I know in my heart that 95% of Americans would be surprised to hear that fasting is so beneficial... Maybe if we spent more of our free time reading/watching worthwhile material as oppose to watching so many of these terribly ignorant cable television shows & worrying about the garbage that floats around on social media...
