[LIVE LIMITED ?? TODAY] Job Interview Playbook!

Have you ever wondered why job interviews are set up the way they are?

You know, with someone trying to decide—in 1,800 seconds—whether you’ll be the star employee they’ve been dreaming of?

I don’t know either.

I’m guessing it has to do with the fact most “interviewers” you’ll speak to are, in fact, paid to do something other than evaluate new employees.

That means they need to steal a half hour from whatever they actually get paid to do to talk with you.

Ask you a few questions.

Fill in a massive number of blanks because they don’t have enough time to get the actual information which would actually tell them how actually awesome you are.

If you don’t get the job, you’re left wondering why they don’t know what everyone else you’ve ever worked with knows…

You would have crushed that job.

While I don’t know why interviews are 30 minutes of weird-question ping pong that doesn’t inform interviewers of what they truly need to know about you, I do know how to win them.

THAT’s what I get paid to do.

Every day of my life.

Even wrote a book about it.

See, job interviewing has very little to do with how well you actually do your job.

It has everything to do with how well you sell yourself through your storytelling.

You need to score with the limited time you have available.

To do that, you need to know what they’re buying!

People buy what THEY need.

They think of themselves first.

If you can give them what they need, yeah.

But, you need to show them you have what they need. Like really fast.

Good news for you.

I break this all down for you in my FREE Webcast called The Job Interview Playbook.

You’ll learn the steps to take before and during the interview to prove your value, sell yourself, and get hired

Re. your question for feedback Andrew re length/approach of webinar: I am happy for the longer session. The short, tactical pieces can be great ... however, at a certain level where there is nuance/arguably surprises, it is good to have the depth as you understand it more ... the difference between applying in simple situations and understanding so you can interpret a situation/pivot well in a sticky situation. When actively looking, 1 hour 45 minutes is not that long relatively. I do find that more generally, people can commit to one hour for topics of 'interest' ... a different ROI expected. Long eh? In sum, both 1 hour and longer options have a value, depending on the context and the audience. Thanks a million. Catherine
