Live A Great Story

Our core values are integrity, trust and we strive to earn our clients’ trust and serve as an extension of their teams.
We often ask our clients, “What’s your story? What is the story you want others to know about your organization?”
Before Jennifer and Gil began helping clients tell their stories, they were journalists telling other people’s stories.
They recently traveled to Memphis for a crisis communication training. To get a taste of the city, they beelined it to Gus’ fried chicken, where the waiter gave them a free piece of chocolate pie when the kitchen ran out of pecan. The team paired bites of chocolate and sweet potato pies for true yummy goodness.
Nearby, they learned the nation’s first civil rights museum is in Memphis, where Martin Luther King Jr. was killed on the balcony of the Lorraine Motel. The seam in the pavement traces the trajectory of the gunman’s bullet. You can step back into history and stand in line of fire.
At the end of Beale Street, next to a historical marker commemorating Ida B. Wells-Barnett ?– a prominent journalist, activist, and researcher, in the late 19th?and early 20th?centuries – ?we stopped to talk with some young men gathered around. They said they had extra time on their hands and used it to serve their community by giving free haircuts. We asked to take their pictures, then shared the images with them. They were living a great story.
