The Purpose of Life is a life of Purpose” author Robert Byrne wisely said.
All of us, whether we realize it or not, are looking for a life of purpose. I discovered mine by adopting one simple daily habit. That habit was LIVE to GIVE. Yes, LIVE to GIVE.?LIVE to GIVE means that we make the act of giving a core part of our daily living.?When we adopt the LIVE to GIVE habit, it permeates everything we do and how we do it.
Researcher and bestselling author, Dr. Stephen Post, has funded over 50 scientific studies related to giving at top universities in the United States. He concludes that the simple act of purposeful giving adds to the giver’s happiness, health, resilience, creativity, and longevity.?Science also confirms that we are hard-wired to give, that we have an innate need to give.?We are born to give.
Many of us spend our lives in the pursuit of getting. In this pursuit we often sacrifice relationships, family time and health.?Despite our many achievements and possessions, we can still feel empty and unfulfilled.?But when we LIVE TO GIVE it helps us find our purpose.?Unlocking our purpose helps us tap into our potential.?Our potential allows us to create impact and the impact we create leads to a deeper sense of fulfillment.
