DASA Competition: Innovation in Support of Operations
The UK Government seeks innovative, scalable solutions to enhance military and economic advantages. This competition targets technologies that can be swiftly developed and deployed.
The projects will be up to 3 months in length and finish at TRL6. Part of the application will need you to explain how your project can to scaled to be available in an operational environment in a further 12 months.
Funding Pot: ￡2 million across all challenges.
Grant Award: ￡50k-￡200k.
Deadlines: 10th September, 22nd October, 3rd December 2024.
CELTIC-NEXT Call for Projects (Autumn 2024)
CELTIC-NEXT seeks proposals for ICT projects focusing on next-generation communications to support a sustainable digital society. This call encourages innovative R&D collaborations internationally, aiming to advance technologies in areas like 5G/6G, smart cities, and cybersecurity.
Eligibility Requirements:
? Must involve international cooperation with at least two independent entities from Eureka countries.
? Projects should aim for civilian purposes and focus on innovative products, processes, or services for commercialisation.
Grant Award: unspecified limit
Deadline: 21st October 2024
EIC Pathfinder Challenges
This program offers grants and to support high-innovation projects across 5 Specific Focus Areas/Challenges.
Focus Areas:
Solar-to-X Devices: Decentralised production of renewable fuels, chemicals, and materials for climate change mitigation.
Cement and Concrete as Carbon Sinks: Innovative approaches to reduce carbon footprints.
Nature-Inspired Alternatives for Food Packaging and Films for Agriculture: Sustainable materials to support circular economy.
Nanoelectronics for Energy-Efficient Smart Edge Devices: Advanced electronics to improve energy efficiency.
Sustainability and Resilience of EU Space Infrastructure: Enhancing the robustness of space systems.
Total Budget: €120 million (€24 million per challenge).
Grants: Up to €4 million
