live in ceremony

I used to compartmentalize my life - my business/professional life, my personal/family life, and my spiritual life - each had their place. Rarely did these lives intersect (unless it was family and spiritual). Never did spirituality collide with business (we southern girls are taught to never discuss sex, politics or religion in a group setting).

After my bankruptcy 15 years ago, those confines started to loosen a lot. I started going to Peru with no Wi-Fi or cell phone to study with shamans while leaving my new team to watch the business for two weeks at a time.  When I returned, we would all huddle around, and I would share my journeys and what I learned.  Still, there were two worlds: a “ceremony” world in the jungle where I drink medicine and battle tough issues inside myself, and there was the “real world” where I deal with “real life” issues. I’ll never forget the day that something scary happened in my business, so I panicked as usual…except something in that panic felt wildly familiar to the jungle this time.

I sat at my desk and observed the energy of the issue the same way I would sit in ceremony, observe the issue, then deal with the core, shifting the energy.  Ah-Ha! -  I had the realization that I am ALWAYS in ceremony.  There is no separate ceremony in the jungle. It’s all the same reality.  Any issue in the “real world” is only an energetic issue, same as in ceremony. So I started looking at the core energies that had to be present for me to manifest this “real world” issue.  And that’s when I started looking at my business world and personal word ALL as spiritual. I got my crossover: My lives were intersecting. So my world completely flipped. There is zero separation of the two in my mind. I am a spiritual being in business and in my family, period.

now have coaches that aren’t executive coaches but shaman types and therapists that help guide me deep into the core of an issue.  When I shift that shit from this place, this perspective, then not only is my business changed, I am too.  Business can be one of our fastest tools of enlightenment if you allow it.

Say AYE if you know it’s all one big ass ceremony…
