I entered and lived 2020 believing “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13 NKJV). So much happened in 2020. It brought painful sorrow (I lost my mother to COVID-19 as many others lost loved ones). But I also experienced great joy. (I Became a grandmother for the first time and mother-in-law for the second time). It was only through the strength of Christ that I made it through the sorrow to be here to experience the joy and blessings of a newborn granddaughter and a newborn son-in-law.
As 2020 came to a close, I entered 2021 as I did in 2020 “being confident of this very thing, that He who begun a good work in’ me ‘will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” (Philippians 1:6 NKJV) I remain here with a specific call on my life that only I can fulfill. I stand ready to fulfill my purpose; however, the Lord intends for me to so.
I pray that it is not done by “selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind and esteeming others better” than myself. Also, I pray I “look out not only for’ my ‘interests but also for the interests of others.” (Philippians 2:3).
How will I live my life in 2021? I will live my life in 2021 as I did in 2020, believing if I allow Him, that” I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” I will also live it “Trusting the Lord, leaning on Him and not my understanding, and in all my ways acknowledge Him and He will direct my path.” (Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV)
I encourage you to Live 2021 Trusting, Leaning, and Acknowledging Him in All Your Ways.”
