The Little Things

The little things can ignite big results in campfires and in people when they start to lose their intensity.
When a campfire is going out you can add some small pieces of twigs or kindling to help get it started again. This holds true in our lives professionally and personally as well.
When we hit one of those points where things may not be going the way we want them to at work or at home we can sometimes lose our fire. We are just going through the motions to get things done. Not focused on doing the little things but just getting the job done. Because of this, we may be completing the task, but results are starting to die down.
Times like these are when we need to focus on all the little things and making sure we are consistently doing them. We need to put all the little things together each day just like adding kindling to campfire that is dying.
By refocusing on the little things each day and growing that consistent flame, soon the fire will be ragging again. But you will find the difference in good and great is to remember even when the fire is burning high the Little Things still make a Big Difference!
Jason… another great post and insight. Little thing “micro actions” (all piled up together) can be the spark that reignits the fire. Love these posts, please keep them coming!
