Little Story about a Great Company - Ultradent Inc.

In 1999 I was 10, and still I have the vivid memory of the care and the attention Ultradent and its family dedicated me. I tagged along my father, who had been invited at their HQ in Utah, full of emotion since it was the first time I stepped foot in the US in my life. The experience we had was amazing, we saw the Factory, we Played a Game with Composite - which I managed to win somehow ?? beginners' luck I guess - there was a Conference with people from all over the world, and last but not least Dr. Dan Fischer and his family hosted a beautiful dinner for all the participants, really making you feel as part of the family.
Throughout the entire experience I have been treated as one of the Dentists they had invited, and I even got the Certificate of Attendance - how cool for being 10 ?? - so when I came home I was just: WOW!
Now 20 years later I look back to this childhood memory as a compound of valuable business lessons, that I will try to resume here:
1. Give always More than expected
2. Let everyone feel included no matter how important they are in that specific moment
3. Think about your Future Customers
4. Be true to your Values. If you want to state that your company is like a family make sure it is one
- Think about you Customers' Experience, leave them with a great memory
I have not become a Dentist, yet today I am proud and loyal Ultradent customer, and it has a lot to do with the way I felt 20 years ago!
Think about tomorrow!
