What impact are you making on others?
I was blessed to meet this sweet neighborhood friend of my parents while visiting in Virginia recently. She’s a precious 11-year-old with a huge heart and made a huge impact on me. I only had two encounters with her but we quickly bonded over conversations and a fierce game of pickleball against my dad.
In a casual conversation, I shared how we lost our little dog last year and hoped to eventually get another one. A couple of days later she showed up on my parent's doorstep with this canvas painting for me. We had already left, so my mom sent me this beautiful picture of my future new puppy that she had painted.
How is it that someone you meet only once or twice, can make a heart print like a tattoo on your soul? She did on mine, spreading her sunshine into my world.
What impact are you making on others in these recent days?
