A Little About Me....
Steve Lewis
Car Guy, Builder, Racer, Published Automotive Journalist, Business Owner, and Harley Davidson Rider.
I've always been interested in things mechanical since I was old enough to crawl. Growing up I ravage so many Bike, Trikes, Big Wheels, Lawnmowers, and anything else with wheels. By the time I was 12 I had already rebuilt my first engine and was working on rebuilding my first car a 1963-1/2 Ford Galaxy 500 XL. I move into Drag Racing at 14 and then Street Racing as well as Track Racing at 16. At 28 I got my first taste of Dirt Track Racing, and did that and Drag Racing on and off for quite a few years. I last Drag Raced in 2006, and I'm currently building a car to return to Drag Racing. It's a Big Block Powered 1976 Chevrolet Laguna S3. In between Work and Racing, I enjoy going to Car Shows and Races. I do write Articles about the places I've gone and the things I've seen. I have also finished my first Book and it's awaiting Publication.

But I had learned a lot and getting a book published is not an easy task as one will usually be rejected several times before they get a yes, so we learned having thick skin & ignoring the rejections & keep pushing forward & eventually you will get published. He had written several books that initially got rejected & eventually got accepted... as he taught us persistence & perseverance does pay off...lol. In fact at the time of taking one of his classes they were turning one of his books into a movie. So kudos to you on getting published..

8 年Congratulations on getting your 1st book in publication.... that is a difficult process. I had taken several writing classes as well as the process in how to get your book published. The classes were taught by a gentleman who formally worked as a writer, producer, etc for a couple of major television stations.... had worked withe the rat pack, wrote/produced seven documentaries, was the one who came up with (I believed
