A little love for the federal marketers.
Last week I had the opportunity to speak with a group of sales and marketing peers in the federal space about best practices for public sector marketing, with a special emphasis on how to get started and scale in your first year.
We talked about the importance of understanding the industry, ways to leverage your #brand story, how to gain support from your internal teams, methods for stretching a lean budget, and marketing in a post-Covid world. There was a lot of participation from other attendees and a special thank you to Hanna Wong for jumping in to offer her perspective on how solution providers establish and build trust in this market.
If you missed the discussion, then I have some good news. The team at Insight Partners has generously offered to help turn the presentation into a digital guide that can be shared with all of you who might be saying “tell me more about these federal marketing best practices!”. More to come on that in the next few weeks but if you’re anxious to continue the conversation before then, feel free to drop a question or comment below.
Lastly, I would be remiss if I didn’t thank Nick Sinai for having the idea, extending the invitation, and creating the space to talk about my favorite topic. On behalf of all the federal marketers who dedicate countless hours, we appreciate the support and spotlight.
