With a little help from my (digital) friends!
Ten years ago, buying national TV was a steal. Today, marketers are getting priced out by skyrocketing ad rates, even as conventional TV audiences decline consistenly. TV networks have maintained flat revenues by raising the cost of their inventory, despite ratings falling by double-digits across geos and dayparts.
However, TV networks are trying to provide more digital inventory to put less pressure on their traditional Television inventory. They’re working very hard to create and add premium digital inventory that will allow them to grow again. Digital audience extensions are coming to save the day…GO CHANGE!!!
