Little drops make the mighty ocean...
A fact that we must think deeply and then need to take the step ahead !!!!!!!!!!!!
A couple of days back I was travelling by auto rickshaw, one of my co-passengers was so hurried to reach the office that he was asking the driver to break the rules and move on.
-Co Passenger: Bhai sahab... Jaldi chalo na... late ho raha h... thoda sa jaldi chalo to sahi...
-Driver: (Stuck in traffic signal) Madam... signal laga h... kaise jaun...
-Co Passenger: wo dusre sides se le ke chalo na rickshaw... late ho raha h bhai sahab...
-Driver: Madam... waha pe havaldar khada hai... kaise jaun... (slowing down his tone) 50 rupees ki bhada k liye 200 rupees fine bharna padega...
-Co Passenger: (getting irritated and murmuring) yeh log kahi v traffic signal laga dete h... subah subah kaise time pe office pahunche... haaaad ho gayi yaar... apne desh ka kuch nhi hoga... itna corruption to already hai apne desh me aur fir yeh sab... pata nhi aage kya hone wala h... (continues...)
I was silent at that time and somehow made the lady calm down.
In fact, I feel bad that by directly or indirectly we are influencing to break the rules and fueling corruption. It's not about breaking the traffic signal rather it's about all other rules that have been made to make India stronger ever.
According to the study report: On an average, 25-30 million people stay in Mumbai. Out of that, more than 15-20 million people travel by Auto rickshaw, Taxi, Bus, Bike & Car every day. Just Imagine, If 5-10% of 15-20 million people will break the traffic rules, what will be the consequences?
How to handle these consequences?
Sometimes we are breaking traffic rules, getting caught, and releasing by providing bribe. This is the worst part we should avoid.
Talking about other countries, especially to Europian countries or some part of Asian countries, you hardly find a traffic police, absolutely ZERO. Everyone follows the same rule over there... Even though, if we are visiting there we have to follow the same. Then why can't we follow these rules in our country to empower our country? There is no need for traffic police to control us if we will follow the rules.
We all want to live in a better India, but we do not want to take the responsibilities to change INDIA. Only one person Shree Narendra Modi ji or only our Indian Government bodies cannot bring the change in India without the cooperation of our Citizen. Our Govt. is also trying to do lot more practices to eradicate corruption, we should support it rather than complaining.
We should change ourself to change our Nation...
We all know... "Little drops make the mighty ocean"... A small habit of discipline in an individual can bring a bigger difference in Nation !!!!!
This article doesn't mean to hurt anybody personally at any point in time.
In travelling somewhere, If we are getting late for some or other reason, we should start our journey earlier. But breaking the rule and indirectly involving in corruption will not take our nation to make empower.
To see a brighter Nation, need to start with the smaller act.
