As there are 5 Mondays in July we have time for a little bonus edition this month and have chosen to showcase the work of 4 of our terrific artists; Jun Cen, Heping Wu, Owen Freeman and Loris Lora. We will introduce editorial artworks that you may not have seen before or something out of the ordinary from their back catalogue.
As ever, ?you can see more of their work on our website, social media or Behance pages.
Owen Freeman has a wonderful way of creating cinematic drama and carrying a narrative with ease. ?This brand new, powerful image is one of four created for Wired Magzine. Commissioned to illustrate the first six chapters of Elliot Ackerman's 2054: A Novel, they exude threat, power and intrigue.
You can view the additional images on Owen's personal Instagram account.
If you would like to see more of Owen's work, do visit our website or join us on Social Media.
Jun Cen has a wonderful delicacy to his work that draws us in and carries even the most challenging narrative with elegance and grace. The numerous layers of colour and texture, alongside unusual perspectives and dream landscapes, give his artwork a beguiling quality.
This fascinating piece for the New York Times is no exception. ?The article posed the question, 'Who do you think you are?' Philosophy professor, Simon Critchley answered that the sense of self is not always the grand tale that has a narrative arc, but perhaps more of an episodic concept. ?
Who but Jun could handle this brief with such eloquence?
The work of Heping Wu is exquisite in its distinctive palette and intricate details. ?He draws both from his work with a range of international clients and from his Chinese heritage. ?His fluid lines, delicate palette and superb draftsmanship allow his work to sit elegantly in many different international markets and design fields.?
You can see more of his work on our website or social media
This captivating piece by Loris Lora for Maisonette World is as engaging as it is instructive. ?Although Loris is perhaps best known for her children's books, her delicate artistry is often used to help with the more difficult subjects. ?This piece sat alongside an article by Dr Bronwyn on 'How to Talk to Your Children About Sex'.?
We'd love to connect with you so do subscribe if you haven't already and don't forget to follow our principal agent, Kit Killington to keep up to date with new images.
