A little bite about us

Technology solutions that build trust in local government services
Meet Piper. He was adopted by Paula in January 2023.
As one of our security engineers, Paula signed up to volunteer at the Franklin County Dog Shelter with her FCDC colleagues and swore she wasn’t getting another dog. But she saw Piper, a few months old, surrounded by bigger dogs, looking lost. Paula picked up Piper and...
“He immediately nestled into my neck and wouldn't budge.”
Piper went home with Paula.
In just the last year Paula and 42 more colleagues from FCDC have volunteered over 120 hours at the Dog Shelter—making treats and socializing dogs.
Yes, our mission is to empower our partners to achieve their missions using secure, capable technologies. And we’ve done that with the Shelter, too—installing new Wi-Fi, replacing outdated PCs and field tablets, and migrating data into a new shelter management system.
But our team believes in making a difference. They need to know their work is building resilience, equity, and justice. It matters.
Asked to sum up the volunteering and adoption experience with the Shelter, Paula observed: “You can tell they really care.”
We do too.
