A Little Bit of "Tee Tree" History
When Captain Cook explored Australia, he saw that the aborigines carefully searched for the leaves of a certain tree to make a medicinal tea. Cook called them “Tea Trees” and took some leaves for his crew to use.?
Later settlers discovered that the leaves could be steamed to make an oil – and that oil was considered so amazing that every Australian soldier carried a bottle in their first-aid-kit during World War II.?
