A little bit of good news!
Christmas is fast approaching and although at the moment unless things change it’s going to be very different. Many businesses are selling online with virtual events but in keeping with the spirit of this time of year we are keeping Stafford Walking Street Market very much a ‘real live’ event
We would like to extend the amount of market stalls and retailers taking part, giving the opportunity to showcase your wares or services which hasn't been easy over the summer month with markets, fairs, fetes and festivals being cancelled
In addition, we are all in a pickle in different ways at the moment but I wanted to offer to any charity fundraiser a 50 % discount on having a stand to raise funds at the next two Stafford Walking Street Market's on Thursday the 12th of November and Thursday the 10th of December; making the fee £15
ALL your raised money must go to the charity/community group that you are representing, except for your expenses
This is open for the public as well as the registered charity or community group as so many fundraising events haven't been able to take place this year. You will need your own gazebo and table
A booking form must be filled out and what you had in mind clearly stated on the form to avoid duplication; we can't have 20 bottle tombola's or 15 hook and ducks and 5 Play Your Cards Right, the more imaginative the better and returned to Nikki with payment to secure your place
We have already had four markets since lockdown and work closely with Staffordshire Borough Council, Police, Health and Safety and Environmental Health to bring a COVID secure event to you and the public
