Handling Equipment UK Ltd (formerly European Handling) now have availability of lithium ion forklifts from stock.

The trucks manufactured by EP Equipment are fitted with EP's own Li-ion power pack have been designed from scratch. Rather than taking an existing forklift and fitting a Li-ion battery, EP have redesigned the complete range of battery lift truck which are now known as the L1 range. By doing so, EP have managed to reduce the overall size of the trucks but increase the operators compartment giving far more room. Also reducing the bulkhead height giving much improved visibility.

The use of Li-ion power has many advantages. Zero emissions, zero battery maintenance, increased working times, opportunity charging, higher efficiency to name a few. Customer orders for these new machines have already been logged and with IMHX2019 just around the corner demo stock has arrived. Trucks for immediate availability are 2 tonne and 3.5 tonne 4 wheel and 1800kg 3 wheel units.
