Listening is a Powerful Form of Mindfulness
David Zinger
Extending Invitations to Experience and Engage with Who and What Matters to You
Engaged listening is mindfulness.
I just finished teaching the first session of my 4 part listening lab. What a fine group of participants.
What really stood out for me is the mindful/meditative state that is required for us to listen fully to another person. Rather that focus on a mantra or breathing we focus on their content, emotion, and intention.
Powerful, careful, and engaged listening is a mindfulness practice that benefits both others and ourselves. I can't wait for next week!
