God does speak, but do we listen? I just bought a car to drive for better gas mileage... And it's a convertible and fast (I have to be honest). It was used and from a private party. During the whole process I was warned. There was a nagging feeling so I researched and found mainly negative reviews. My brother warned me about potential problems. My son made cocky but valid points. But all I could 'hear' (from myself) was that it's cool looking and will be fun... I drove it for 2 weeks and it has been in the shop ever since... God sent the Holy Spirit to cause the nagging doubt. He spoke through my brother and my son. I just didn't WANT to perceive the message. When we don't take the time to listen to Christ's messages and justify our own desires, we can pay dearly. Listen... He is talking and have a blessed day!
