LISNR's January Newsletter
Hey LISNR Friends -?
Happy 2023! It’s hard to believe that 2022 is already over, what a year for proximity solutions. Since we last updated you all, we have made it easier than ever to experience LISNR firsthand, through Experience LISNR Now. Our payment and non-payment ecosystem partners are growing exponentially, as our transaction volume is growing at over 30% for the last 2 years, and trends across the globe are setting us up for success in 2023. As LISNR continues to drive accessibility and inclusivity for merchants and consumers, we’re looking forward to announcing new product updates, adoption across our ecosystem, and the introduction of new partnerships.
Paul Bartholomew-Keen Joins as a Strategic Advisor?
We are excited to welcome Paul Bartholomew-Keen to our Advisory Board. Paul joins the LISNR Strategic Advisory Board with nearly four decades of financial services and payments experience at organizations such as Barclays, Lloyds Banking Group, Mastercard and Elavon, where he is currently the Head of Strategic Relationships in Europe. Prior to joining Elavon, Paul also worked with a number of Fintechs and start-up businesses and has a passion for innovating and making a difference wherever he’s at.
New Product Updates
We are excited to announce a couple of new products to our catalog. Our new product updates and features will continue to boost LISNR’s presence in the contactless payment market, and provide a clear competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Tone Lock?
We’re excited to announce LISNR Tone Lock, built on LISNR Point, which protects against outside devices reading sensitive data by transmitting a pre-shared UUID. Within the transmission training sequence from the transmitting device to its intended receiving device, Tone Lock can be enabled to eliminate man in the middle attacks or replay attacks at time of payment. Without an exact match of the pre-shared UUID to the UUID embedded in the signal header, the receiving device will not demodulate the transmission and no payload data will be read. LISNR Point 2.1 and Tone Lock expands LISNR’s commitment to secure transactions by helping to ensure against man in the middle and replay attacks on sensitive or personal data.
Web-SDK
LISNR’s new Web SDK is a web-based proximity token authentication that eliminates the need to download a merchant native app. By enabling a more secure mobile digital authentication strategy without the investment in mobile app development, merchant and solution providers ensure a fully ubiquitous mobile digital security implementation for native app and non-native app users.
