How do we promote health?

We want mental and physical health to be a priority for our studio members, so we offer a 5000 SEK annual wellness allowance. This covers activities from gym membership to meditation apps to horseback riding. We also partner with SATS and Friskis & Svettis, two of Stockholm’s leading fitness providers, for discounts and benefits. Find what works for you! Is there a pension plan in place?

Being present is important, but it’s never too early to plan for the future. Our pension plan includes an occupational pension based on your salary that Liquid Swords adds to your basic public pension. We work with S?derberg & Partners to allocate each employee's pension investments, and you are given the opportunity to sit down with them if you want to be involved in this process.?

What’s it like to be a parent at Liquid Swords?

At Liquid Swords, we top up your child allowance to 100% during the first six months of your leave to encourage equal parenting and to make it easier to focus on your family. We also know that life is never straightforward, so we offer core working hours between 10:00 and 15:00.

The Swedish Social Insurance Agency (F?rs?kringskassan) provides a basic child allowance to both parents. You have a right to full parental leave until the child is 18 months old and then part-time leave until they turn 8.?

What happens at the office?

Liquid Swords recently moved into brand new, bespoke offices in the heart of Sickla. We built a suite that encourages focused work, meaningful collaboration, and plenty of space to unwind and have fun.

AW (After Work drinks) are an essential part of the Swedish working culture, on par with strong coffee and a drawer full of abandoned lunch boxes (matl?dor). We host regular After Work hang-outs for our entire studio, with plenty of drinks and snacks. Our swords also organize their own activities during and after work hours, such as board game nights and movie screenings. We make sure that our game library is stocked with classics and updated with the latest releases.?

What about my personal growth?

We encourage everyone to keep growing within their chosen field or step out of their comfort zone and discover a new discipline. We’ll pay for classes and training that count towards your personal development. If there is a relevant conference, like GDC or the Game Awards, we make sure that you can attend and get any additional learning material that you need and can share with the rest of the studio. Knowledge is power!
